About Me

Hi there, and welcome! I'm Frances, the artist behind frankscharmshop ₍^. .^₎⟆

I'm a self-taught artist with a lifelong love for creating miniature worlds. There's something incredibly special about transforming a tiny piece of clay into something full of personality, and I've found myself returning to polymer clay throughout my childhood and now, into adulthood. The patience and attention to detail that each piece requires has been a great challenge, but the satisfaction of cultivating this specific difficult skill is what keeps me coming back.

Growing up in the Midwest, my sisters and I were always looking for new creative hobbies to explore. We spent countless hours watching niche YouTube tutorials, and one day we stumbled across polymer clay. What started as a fun afternoon activity quickly grew into a passion that has stayed with me ever since. Today, I look back fondly at these memories and this nostalgia has become a huge source of inspiration and motivation for me.

That love for creating is something my family still shares today. My incredibly talented sister Charlotte and I dream of opening an art studio together one day, and we created @berryxcharmcollective on Instagram as a place to share that journey. You can also find Charlotte's beautiful work at @charberryart.

What I love most about sculpting is the process itself. It can be slow, meticulous, and sometimes frustrating—actually, a lot of the times—but there's nothing more rewarding than seeing an idea come to life in your hands. Every miniature is sculpted, baked, glazed, and carefully packaged by hand from my little studio in California.

Much of my inspiration comes from the things that make me smile—cartoon characters, cats, other cute creatures, colorful fruit, and cozy moments. Whether it ends up on your keys, your desk, your shelf, or in your collection, my hope is that each miniature brings a bit of that same happiness to you ₊˚⊹♡

Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting my little corner of the internet. It truly means the world to me.
